The Cobra Drivers Club Tour of Argyll Sunday 26th August 2018 DATE TO BE CONFIRMED
The Cobra Drivers Club are extremely proud to announce the fifth annual event that visits the restored Rest & Be Thankful speed hill climb course on Sunday 26th August 2018.
This event is open to all owners of original, continuation and recreation Cobra 260, 289, 427 and Daytona Coupe, Sunbeam Tiger 260, 289 & Le Mans, Mustang 289, 350 and 500 and all models of the GT40 & Ford GT.
The event will start with breakfast being taken at the unique Deanston Distillery in Doune, which is located on the banks of the river Teith. The distillery also provides ample secure car parking. After breakfast there will be a 65 mile scenic tour via The Dukes Pass, to Glen Croe and The Rest & Be Thankful.
The Cobra Drivers Club have then arranged exclusive and privileged access for the day to the recently restored private road and you will be able to enjoy two full runs from bottom to top.
After enjoying the hill climb course, we will then set off on the sweeping A83 for the fairy-tale Inveraray Castle for a late 3 course lunch.
All of the roads used during the day have excellent surfaces. This event will be run under an MSA permit and is limited to 30 vehicles only.
