and within 20 minutes drive of the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit as part of our Le Mans Classic quality accommodation options. The house can sleep up to 10 people over 5 bedrooms.
Manor House is a private family home and not a hotel.
Chateau/Manor House Description
The chateau/manor was built in 1553 by Charles de Jalesnes. Since its construction everything has remained original.
Inside, the doors and ironwork are also almost all original. The manor was used as a grain store for several decades, which spared it from the French Revolution.
Since 1949 this site has been classified as a Historic Monument and is a reference for many other manors in the department.
The manor has also been a family home for 7 generations. The current family moved in 20 years ago and have never stopped restoring the house with the help of competent craftsmen.
At the manor house you will find informal gardens where the meadows have been requisitioned for horses to frolic in.
