Tuscany Tour/Giro di Tuscany Description

SUNDAY

Arriving at Reims under your own steam, you will be welcomed to the Hotel de La Paix with a glass of Champagne by the Tour Director. The hotel is located in the centre of Reims and has secure underground parking for your car. It also benefits from being close to all the bars & restaurants in the pedestrian precinct and is nearby the medieval Cathedral. You can check into your bedroom from 15.30 and relax after your journey.

Our "welcome" dinner takes place this evening in the hotel where you will have the opportunity to meet all your fellow tour participants. 

MONDAY

Following breakfast, we depart Reims on route to Turin, with a picnic lunch stop planned enroute, before we arrive at the Turin Palace Hotel which will be our base for this evening. After checking in, we will enjoy a fine dinner in the hotel restaurant.

TUESDAY

After a hearty breakfast we depart Turin and head to Bologna, with a restaurant lunch stop enroute. Following lunch, we drive over the epic Futa Pass, which is part of the Mille Miglia route, then head via Florence to the stunning IL Borro Hotel & Resort, which will be our base for the next 3 evenings. We will take dinner in the hotel restaurant this evening.

WEDNESDAY

Today is a FREE DAY for you to do as you please and to relax/chill out. Enjoy all the fantastic facilities that the hotel has to offer and make your own lunch/dinner arrangements.

THURSDAY

Today we visit a local winery for a tour of their vineyards, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon we visit the historic city of Arezzo, before returning to IL Borro for a splendid 3-course dinner.

FRIDAY

Today will take in some beautiful Tuscany roads as we head to the walled city of Lucca
